Being Church Beyond Our Walls

Jesus commanded his disciples to go. Though the Church is not a social service agency, we at Christ the King, motivated by and participating in the love which Christ for all, have numerous opportunities for spiritual service in which you can participate:

• Habitat for Humanity

• Devotionals at Assisted Living Facilities

• Meals on Wheels (we focus on the needs for pet foods for those receiving Meals on Wheels)

• God’s Pantry Food Bank

• Salvation Army Christmas Stockings

• Kairos Prison Ministry

• Compassion International

We are also home to NA and NarAnon groups which meet at Christ the King on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

In 2010, during the Artisphere celebration in downtown Greenville, we were able to participate in a community outdoor worship service and are always exploring other opportunities to be the faithful presence of Christ in our community.
