Christ the King Lutheran Church: The 3 PEGS

The 3 PEGs of MINISTRY

The ministries in which we engage at Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church seem to be hung on three pegs.

First, we desire deeply to be spiritually transformed; changed more and more into the likeness of Christ, individually and as a congregation. We seek God, put simply, in all that we do.

Second, we seek to establish and deepen our connections with each other; rejoicing with each other; crying with each other; bearing each other’s burdens; encouraging one another. We treasure the sense of family that we have. It is really a gift of the Spirit.

Third, we seek to be the faithful presence of Christ in the world in which we live, in the Greenville area, in our neighborhood. We want to be a part of something larger than ourselves, to be the Church beyond our walls.

We genuinely welcome all, regardless of social status, race, gender, physical limitations, or sexual orientation to join with us in our church life and our ministries.
